Message	Georgia, the cops have to offer to calibrate the machine after they stop you to prove the machine is functioning properly. Bear in mind, the driver has to challenge the cop he was not speeding and or the cop scanned a different car. The re-calibration proves the machine is accurate. Do they have to show you the speed on the machine ? Doubt it, but you should Google.com up some legal websites with lawyers and law students and post some questions. Get some free advice that way. You'll get some BS too, but if you get similar responses a couple of times, maybe you'll get some tips to use in court, assumming you go.
